Lydia Sparrow by Michal Teig
now the moon is a failure on the terrace
nudging September so that it might see
my little donkey growing older in the lot,
the fields unraveling and the far waves draw up
on their glass knees. Nudging October
so that the snow comes down like in a book.
I would ask you to hurry. It’s late.
The hotels grow wild and deserted.
Into their chambers the deer pulse and dwindle.
Already the last migrants pass
towards some less punishable landscape.
The plovers parallel the coast.
Following what? The thought of arrival?
A glass chapel? Blaze the cages.
Hang the crickets. There should be music.

About this project:
This is an experience where we try to visually measure the impact of art on the viewer -
in this case, on the reader of a chosen poem called "Lydia Sparrow".
While experiencing the poem, readers will be asked to identify their feelings regarding what they are reading.
This will result in a new piece of art--generated by the impact of the poem on the reader--
that combines random pictures created by random users from
around the world.
This use of Flickr's API creates a unique and evolving piece of art in which thousands of humans
will be participating.
